Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted using OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. Technically necessary access data includes the requested page, date and time, browser and device information, referrer URL and IP address. Processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in secure and reliable operation. Logs are retained only as long as necessary for operation, security and legal obligations. Hosting providers and subprocessors may process data outside the EU.

Hosting cookies

Cloudflare uses cookies to protect this website against automated abuse and to recognise completed security checks. The __cf_bm cookie expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. The cf_clearance cookie records a completed security check; its currently configured lifetime is up to one year. These security cookies are separate from Plausible Analytics.

OpenAI Sites also automatically sets the __Host-appgarden-visitor cookie when the website is opened, with a lifetime of 90 days. This cookie is managed by the hosting platform, independently of our Plausible integration. Sites additionally provides its own visitor and page-view statistics. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings; blocking security cookies may affect access to the website. We do not set advertising cookies, and the enquiry assistant does not store your entries in cookies or persistent browser storage.

Contact

If you contact Lena Aschenbrenner by e-mail, WhatsApp or a social network, the information you provide is processed to answer your request and, where applicable, to prepare or fulfil a contract. The enquiry assistant keeps your entries in browser memory while it is open, not in persistent browser storage or analytics. While direct delivery is unavailable, Prepare email passes the enquiry to your email application; you must send it there yourself. Please do not include medical records or detailed health information. Processing contact requests is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual enquiries, or Article 6(1)(f) for other correspondence. Contact details are retained only as long as needed for the request and any applicable legal retention obligations.

Enquiry delivery and e-mail

When you send an enquiry using the assistant, its contents and your contact details are sent via our server and Resend to lena@lenaaschenbrenner.com. The mailbox is operated using Google Workspace. These services process the data to deliver, receive and manage correspondence. Processing by Resend and Google may take place outside the EU, including in the USA. Their data processing terms provide safeguards for international transfers, including standard contractual clauses. Resend's Ireland sending region does not mean that all account data and logs remain in the EU. Information on these safeguards is available on request. Providing contact details is necessary for a reply; the other optional fields are voluntary. Your enquiry answers are not sent to Plausible Analytics.

External links

The contact buttons lead to WhatsApp, Instagram and LinkedIn. No data is sent to these services by this website before you select a link. After opening an external service, its provider is responsible for the processing of data there.

Website statistics

We use Plausible Analytics to understand both websites in aggregated form, based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and our legitimate interest in improving content and usability. Plausible does not set tracking cookies or store raw IP addresses or persistent identifiers. IP and browser information are processed transiently to generate a daily changing identifier. Statistics include page views, referrers, language, website used, contact and partner clicks, switches between the websites, and opening or sending an enquiry. Enquiry answers and contact details are not transmitted to Analytics. Plausible processes analytics data in the EU; these statistics are not a named individual's browsing history.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data and object to processing where the legal requirements are met. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority.
